Las Mañanitas

This place is so cute inside & out! The service was amazing ! I was looking for a place that serves good huevos rancheros & they delivered! I left nothing on my plate !! Probably the best I’ve had in a very long time! My honey got the chile verde breakfast plate & OMG the meat just melts in your mouth! The horchata was really good too & very fresh! I definitely will be coming back and bringing friends & family!

Tried this place for the first time, and I was surprised with how good it is! The atmosphere is nice and pleasant. It's clean and spacious! The staff was friendly and informative. They gave good suggestions on what to try since it was our first time there. The food, although a little pricey, was delicious! For 4 people, our bill was about $61. Their Horchata is amazing!! You gotta try it! They have a variety of selections on their menu. They have both cash prices and credit card prices listed on their menu since there is a charge to use your card. This place is in the R st Marketplace that used to be owned by bitwise. It's on R st between Tulare and Ventura, right next to the Slush Puppy building. It's worth a try!

We were on our way home from Yosemite and decided to visit this restaurant for breakfast. The interior appears to be undergoing renovation, but the food is truly delicious. I particularly enjoyed the chicharrones with beans and rice. My friends agree with the quality of the food and hope for the growth of this restaurant.

Wow!!! This place is truly a “hidden gem”! My daughter has been telling me for months, “you’ve got to try this place”. I put it off until today and….. omg Wow!! We walked in, the place was clean, the employees were super friendly and down to earth, and not that “fake” kind of friendly. They had nice bachata music playing in the back. I ordered the chili verde lunch plate with fried pork, rice and beans. And BAM!! 2 minutes after….. it was on the table!! It was the best that I’ve ever had in my life! I’ve tried foods all over the SF Bay Area and that is the best tasting, most juicy and tender pork that I’ve ever experienced!! The rice was PERFECT! And the beans…Mmmm Mmmmm and more Mmmmm I even ordered one to take home. The owner, I think that’s who he was who took my second order, he was super serious but I finally got him to give me a smile. :) My daughter got the sopas. I’m not a fan of the taste of the masa bowl, but the way that it was displayed on the plate was so beautiful!! The bathroom’s were so spacious and very clean!! The only thing that I didn’t like where the air dryers because those are known to be very non-hygienic, and also the noise scares my daughter because she has autism Overall the prices $$ are a little bit too high but the food is amazing!!! A++++ My plate was just over $19, and that’s without the drink. I’d go back just for the customer service and the pork but I can’t afford to eat there unless it’s a special occasion.

Other than no sit down service. It's a great place to visit. But parking limited especially if your in a wheelchair. But it's worth the visit. Cafe ollay was great. The chili verde was delicious, moist and beyond tender. After enjoying the beans I realized they were ribs. Made it more delicious. My son had the soaked torta. Hey doesn't finish much but it was gone. Annette had the enchiladas beef. They were thick and worth it.
